Interior and practical approach is nice and reasonable

Interior is good and reasonable with nice practical options. Space at rear is little bit tight for the adult occupants but at front high roof style gives plenty of leg and head room for the occupants. Dashboard is well arranged with handy features and equipment. Boot space is little bit tight if compare with its rivals with just 170-litres storage capacity.

Vauxhall Adam Rocks is available in petrol engines only

Vauxhall has used petrol engines in its pseudo SUV looking Adam Rocks. Its petrol engines suit it the best.  Vauxhall has used 1.0litre Eco Flex petrol engine as an entry level engine. It is a three-cylinder and twelve-valve engine, considered as the best of the whole range although in the presence of 1.4litre petrol engine and capable of 113bhp and 125lb/ft torque. This tiny engine is impressive in performance. It takes 9.6 seconds to reach from 0-62m/h and top speed of this engine is 121m/h. fuel consumption is economical with 57m/g and Co2 emissions are 112g/km. It is coupled with five-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive as standard.

Vauxhall has used a 1.2litre petrol engine on experimental basis but not recommended by the experts at all due to its sluggish performance.

1.4litre petrol engine is available with two different outputs. First one is capable of 85bhp and 96lb/ft torque. It is good in performance but not as fast as 1.0litre petrol version. It takes 12.1 seconds to get from 0-62m/h along with top speed of 109m/h. fuel consumption is good with 52m/g along with 124g/km of CO2 emissions. Second one is capable of 147bhp and 162lb/ft torque. It is the fastest one in the whole engine range. It takes 8.2 seconds to reach from 0-62m/h with top speed of 130m/h.  Speed means fuel consumption, average of this engine is reasonable with 47m/g with high 139g/km of Co2 emissions.

Without diesel engines Adam Rocks does well with petrol engines. It is a perfect city car with nice, smooth and relaxed driving experience. Its steering is light in operation and gives good control and precise handling on city roads at top speed. Suspensions are equally good in performance. Some critics have experienced of harsh off-road driving with Adam Rock’s hard suspensions. Overall it offers fun to drive.
